The Homeopathic Consultation
During the first appointment, a full health history is taken. This will be in some detail and will include questions about your physical state as well as what you are like as a person. This enables the homeopath to make an evaluation of your needs and prescribe the most suitable, individualised prescription. The first consultation usually takes an hour to an hour and a half and your remedy will either be given to you immediately or sent to you within a couple of days, depending on the complexity of your case.

How long will it take to treat my condition?
To treat a specific condition it is recommended that you visit a homeopath every 4-6 weeks for, on average, 3 months, although some improvement is often seen after the first remedy is given. Generally, the longer a patient has been suffering, the longer the treatment may take.
